Shimla, May 25: The state secretariat of Himachal Pradesh has once again received a bomb threat. The Chief Secretary’s office received this threatening message through e-mail. As soon as the information was received, the administration immediately started taking action. After receiving the threat, the bomb disposal squad and dog squad were called to the spot. Both the teams are conducting a thorough search operation in the secretariat premises.
Police deployed, surveillance being done
Due to Sunday holiday, there was no presence of employees in the secretariat. However, in view of security, heavy police force has been deployed in the premises. Strict surveillance is going on in the entire area. The administration has taken the threatening email seriously and tightened the security arrangements. Investigation agencies are trying to find out the source of the threatening email.
On the other hand, Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena said that he is out of Shimla. Due to which he does not have complete information. But he has received information from CID that a threatening mail has been received like before. The language is being reported to be the same. After receiving the mail, necessary steps are being taken as a precaution.
