Boost to Himachal tourism as occupancy reaches 80 percent

The tourist places of Himachal Pradesh have started to buzz with tourists from North India. This weekend, the number of tourists has increased in Shimla, Kasauli, Chail, Manali, and Dalhousie. Occupancy has reached 80 percent in Kufri and Narkanda, tourist places adjacent to Shimla. There is a crowd of tourists in Kasauli as well. A large number of tourists are also visiting Kinnaur.

However, after the Kashmir incident, very few tourists are coming to Himachal from South India. After the second week of the summer tourist season that started on April 15, the number of tourists in the state which had decreased has started to increase gradually. Rajendra Thakur, chairman of the All Himachal Commercial Vehicle Joint Action Committee, said that the work has picked up pace this weekend. The number of tourists has increased at all tourist places from this weekend.

After the Pahalgam incident, the number of tourists coming to Himachal had also reduced. The rush of tourists has started increasing from this weekend.
