Congress stands with farmers but slapping is not justified: Vikramaditya Singh on Kangana Slap Row

Shimla: On the slap controversy of Kangana Ranaut, PWD Minister of the state Vikramaditya Singh said that no woman should be treated like this. Vikramaditya Singh who contested the election against Kangana Ranaut condemned the incident. Vikramaditya, who reached the Congress office on Saturday, said that the incident of slapping Kangana is unfortunate.

Vikramaditya said, “Our sympathies are with the farmers. Congress stands with the farmers. Calling anyone a terrorist is also an irresponsible statement. But this way of expressing one’s displeasure and protest is not right.”

He further added that the constitution of India has given people the right to express their views. He said, “The woman security personnel who slapped could have expressed her displeasure through other means as well. Whatever action the CISF and the government will take in this matter, we welcome it.”

CISF Personnel slapped Kangana Ranaut

Let us tell you that two days ago Kangana Ranaut was going to Delhi at Chandigarh airport. During the security check, Kangana Ranaut was slapped by a security personnel named Kulwinder Kaur.

Kulwinder Kaur was hurt by Kangana Ranaut’s rhetoric during the farmers’ movement. However, now an FIR has been registered against the security personnel.
