Shimla: Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is being run by the Central Government across the country with the aim of taking the welfare schemes of the Central Government to the common man. In this series, today Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla flagged off three chariots of “Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra” in the second phase from Raj Bhavan, Shimla. On this occasion, the beneficiaries of the Central Government schemes shared their experiences with the Governor and also listened to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address virtually regarding the yatra.
Union Minister Kaushal Kishore and MP Suresh Kashyap were also specially present on this occasion.
On this occasion, Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla said that the second phase of the Central Government’s Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has been started today. Earlier the Yatra was going on in the tribal areas, now the Yatra will run in the rest of Himachal and information about the schemes being run by the Central Government will be shared with the general public.
On this occasion, Union Minister Kaushal Kishore and MP Suresh Kashyap said that Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra was started with the aim of taking the government’s public welfare schemes to every village so that the government’s schemes can reach the person standing at the last mile.
