Una: Heavy rain on Sunday in Una disrupted life. Due to the flood 50 huts situated on the banks of Bathri Khad got submerged. Bathri Khad, which was in spate due to rain, showed its fierce form, due to which many migrant children came under the grip of water. During this time, about 50 huts of migrant people came under the grip of the water of the Khad. Administration, police, home guards, and local people are engaged in finding the missing children.
When the water of the Khad receded a bit, the bodies of three migrant girls were found, but many migrant children are still reported to be missing.
There has been a loss of crores due to the entry of a large amount of Khad water in about a dozen industries in Bathri, workers of many industries got trapped due to water entering the industrial units. The said workers were able to come out after hours.
