Heavy snowfall expected in Himachal on 26-27 Feb: Sun to shine for next 3 days

Shimla: There are chances of heavy snowfall on Shivratri in Himachal Pradesh. According to the Meteorological Department, Western Disturbance is becoming active on 25 February. There will be rain and snowfall across the state on this day. There may be heavy snowfall on the mountains on 26 and 27 February.

According to the weather department, the weather will be clear across the state from 22 to 24 February. This will provide relief from cold in higher regions. Even today the weather remained clear in most parts of the state. This has led to a rise in the day temperature. But the night temperature has fallen much below normal.

Tabo’s mercury dropped by 9.7 degrees in 24 hours

The minimum temperature has fallen drastically after the rain and snowfall during the last two days. The average minimum temperature of the state has dropped by 2.6 degrees during the last 24 hours. The minimum temperature of Tabo has dropped to minus 11.2 degrees after a drop of 9.7 degrees.

The temperature of Bhuntar has reached 4.0 degrees after a decrease of 5.5 degrees, the mercury of Kalpa has reached minus -3.5 degrees after a decrease of 3.7 degrees, the temperature of Keylong has reached -5.8 degrees after a decrease of 3.5 degrees, the minimum temperature of Kangra has reached 6.6 degrees after a decrease of 4.4 degrees.

The maximum temperature increased due to sunshine during the day

Most parts of the state were sunny today. This has led to a rise in the day temperature. During the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature of the state has increased by 4.3 degrees. The temperature of Kangra has increased by 8.6 degrees to 22.8 degrees Celsius.
