The Bharatiya Janata Party has got a new president in Himachal Pradesh. Once again, Dr. Rajiv Bindal will be the party president. Bindal has become the only leader to become the state president of the Himachal BJP three times.
Earlier, Bindal has been the president twice. First he was appointed party president in the year 2020 for 4 and half months, and second time in the year 2023 to till now. Now he has been selected for the third time.
Three sets were given by Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur, former Union Minister and MP Anurag Thakur and former Minister Govind Thakur to propose the name of Rajiv Bindal for the state president. As per information, the official announcement will be made tomorrow.
