Himachal: Government banned the issuance of appointment letters of Van Mitra

The Himachal Pradesh government has banned the issuance of Van Mitra appointment letters. Now appointment letters will be issued to the selected Van Mitras simultaneously only after the results are declared in all the ranges. To bring transparency in this recruitment process, the government is engaged in re-assessment.

The file has been sent to the government by the Forest Department. Now appointment letters are to be issued to the people only after the permission of the government. Right now the recruitment process of Van Mitras has started in Hamirpur and Chamba districts.

Appointment letters will be issued to all simultaneously only after the results are declared in all the districts. It is being told that appointment letters are to be issued in April.

The result has been declared in Shimla range, but the issuance of appointment letters has been banned here. After the results were declared in Nurpur range, appointment letters were also issued to the people. However, some people were called for orientation in the range, but now they are to be called only after the appointment letters are issued in April.

60 thousand candidates had applied for 2061 posts in Himachal. The recruitment process started in November 2023. After this, the matter was also pending in the High Court for some time. On the other hand, PCCF of Forest Department Sameer Rastogi said that appointment letters will be given to everyone at once. At present, the recruitment process is being started in two districts Hamirpur and Chamba.
