Case of conspiracy to topple the government: police interrogated Chaitanya’s father former CS Rakesh Sharma for 6 hours, summoned 4 MLAs

Shimla police has registered the case of conspiracy to topple the government against the four rebels MLAs, of Congress party Rajinder Rana, Chaitanya Sharma, Ravi Thakur, Devender Bhutto former Uttarakhand chief secretary Rakesh Sharma and Haryana BJP leader Tarun Bhandari. Shimla Boileauganj police station has summoned four MLA’s in this case.
Shimla Police had registered the case against all of them on the complaint of MLA Sanjay Awasthi and Bhuvneshwar Gaur. After the cross vote in the Rajya Sabha elections on February 27, six rebel Congress MLAs and three independent MLAs stayed in a hotel at Panchkula for about two weeks.

After this, they went to Rishikesh Via helicopter. From Rishikesh, they reached Guru Gram. During this time, the police is questioning those who paid for their stay and food bills.

Rakesh Sharma, father of Ashish Sharma and Chaitanya Sharma, is accused of arranging accommodation of MLAs in five to seven star hotels to topple the government and helping in ferrying rebel MLAs by helicopter.

Rakesh Sharma is accused of hatching a conspiracy to topple the majority Congress government in the state. He was involved in horse-trading of six rebel former MLAs of Congress and three former independent MLAs.
