The Himachal Pradesh government will now issue fresh transfer orders for TGTs. After rationalization, many teachers were forced to join after transfer because they did not get a chance to present their case for getting the station of choice. Apart from this, some did not join. According to sources, some teachers had presented their case before the government. After that, the government is going to give relief to the TGT teachers who have been transferred at new places due to rationalization. Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has issued instructions to suspend the transfer orders of teachers who have joined.
Earlier on April 11, the Education Department had suspended the transfer orders of those TGTs who did not join at their new stations. In such a situation, the Chief Minister has asked the Education Department why the orders of teachers who did not join have been suspended, then why were the orders of teachers who joined have not been suspended.
In such a situation, this decision is not fair and the transfer orders of the teachers who have already joined should also be put on hold. After the transfer orders were issued on April 7, about 250 teachers had joined the new stations within five days of the order being issued. The Chief Minister has given instructions to issue a fresh list of transfer orders of teachers who have become surplus due to rationalization.
