Himachal: Tabo shivers @minus 17.7 degrees, snowfall likely in high altitude areas

Lahaul Spiti: The weather will change again in Himachal Pradesh after 2 days. This will cause rain and snowfall again in the mountains. According to the Meteorological (IMD) Center Shimla, Western Disturbance (WD) is becoming active on January 2. Its effect will be visible till January 6.

Before the snowfall, the minimum temperature of Tabo in Lahaul Spiti has dropped to minus 17.3 degrees Celsius. This is the lowest mercury of this season. Temperatures are running in minus in 6 cities of the state. In other cities, the temperature has remained normal for two days.

According to IMD, WD will be active on January 2. On this day, there will be rain and snowfall only in high altitude areas, while on January 3 and 4, there is a forecast of rain and snowfall in higher areas as well as plains. On January 5 and 6, there will be rain in lower areas and good snowfall in other areas.

On the other hand, the weather will be clear in the entire state today and tomorrow. Due to this, the tourists arriving in the state will be able to celebrate the New Year in pleasant weather.
