Police have caught three tippers and one Poclain while mining near Kolka Mata Mandir in Handa Kondi under Manpura police station in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. It is alleged that these tippers belong to the wife of local MLA Ram Kumar Chaudhary. His name is also written on the tippers. Police have seized the Poclain and tippers.
As soon as these tippers were caught while mining, their video went viral on social media. After this, the BJP also started raising questions on it. Former Doon MLA Paramjit Singh Pammi released a video and said that the MLA’s family is engaged in mining work, and the entire ravine has been hollowed out. Mining is going on here day and night. He alleged that even the police is unable to do anything in front of the government.
MLA Ram Kumar Chaudhary said that this is his own private land. Here he is leveling the land. Efforts are being made to plant more trees here. He also has permission for this.
Vehicles will be released on receipt of permission letter
ASP Ashok Verma said that the place where mining is taking place is the MLA’s private land. One tipper was full and two were empty at the spot. Police have seized one Poclain and three tippers. As soon as they receive the permission letter for mining, they will release these vehicles.
