Himachal’s Saksham crowned ‘Youngest Map Genius’ with Fourth national record at age of 5

Shimla: 5-year-old Saksham Thakur of Himachal Pradesh has won the title of ‘Youngest Map Genius of India’ by showing extraordinary talent on Google Map. Saksham’s name was recorded in the OMG Book of Records. OMG announced the name last evening and informed Kullu DC Torul S Ravish about it.

Let us tell you that Saksham can find any country in the world on the map in just 5-10 seconds. For this award, Saksham was first interviewed online by the OMG team. After this, Saksham was also interviewed by the DC of Kullu. After the DC’s interview, Saksham was awarded the ‘Youngest Map Genius of India’ award.

Made first record at the age of 15 months

Saksham is originally from Rampur in Shimla district. But his parents are settled in Manali. Saksham has made this fourth national record at the age of just 5 years. Earlier, Saksham had won the title of ‘Miracle Boy’ by learning all the alphabets at the age of just 15 months.

At the age of 3, Saksham had set a record of identifying the logo of any car manufacturing company in the world. At the age of 5, Saksham has also won the title of ‘Youngest Flag Expert of India’ with his knowledge of the flags, languages, currencies and capitals of 195 countries.

Saksham’s mother Sneha runs a cottage in Parini, Manali. She has taken a 6-room cottage on lease, while Saksham’s father Sagar gives online health coaching. Both the parents themselves teach Saksham. The parents are very happy with this achievement of their child.

Completed UKG studies

Saksham has completed his UKG studies in DPS school in Manali. Now he has gone to first class. Saksham often keeps asking different kinds of questions to his parents. He is always curious to gather information about whatever he sees. DC Kullu Torul S Ravish said that Saksham has extraordinary talent. He said that OMG has awarded Saksham the title of ‘Youngest Map Genius of India’.

The state government will also honor Saksham- DC

DC Torul S Ravish said that during the Winter Carnival, Saksham had also met Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh. Then the Chief Minister announced that the state government would honor this talented child.
