HP Lok Sabha Elections: BJP candidate from Mandi Actress Kangana Ranaut files nomination

Mandi: Today is the last date for nomination for the seventh and final phase of elections. Process of filing nomination is in full swing. All the candidates are filing their nominations for the elections that are be held on June 1.

After a huge roadshow, BJP candidate from Mandi Lok Sabha constituency Kangana Ranaut filed her nomination for the Lok Sabha elections.

After filing her nomination, BJP candidate from Mandi Lok Sabha constituency, Kangana Ranaut said, “Today I have filed my nomination from Mandi Lok Sabha seat. It is a matter of pride for me to get the opportunity to contest elections from Mandi. I have been successful in Bollywood and I hope that I will get success in the field of politics also.”

In a post on X, Kanagana Ranaut said, “Today filed nomination as Bharatiya Janata Party candidate from Mandi Parliamentary Constituency. I am overwhelmed by the love and trust of the people of Mandi Lok Sabha constituency. I am grateful to the respected Prime Minister Mr. @narendramodi ji, the Honorable National President Mr. @JPNadda ji, the Honorable Home Minister Mr. @AmitShah ji, the Leader of the Opposition Mr. @jairamthakurbjp ji, the State President Mr. @rajeevbindal ji and all the dignitaries of the party for giving me the opportunity to serve the people of Mandi. I have full faith that the country will once again get a historic mandate to make Modi ji the Prime Minister.”

Before filing the nomination, Kangana Ranaut lashed out at the congress. She said, “People of Mandi and their love for me have brought me here. In our country, women are making their mark in every field. A few decades ago, incidents of female foeticide used to be more frequent in Mandi. Today the women of Mandi are in the fields of army, education and politics. Kangana said that the anti-national mentality of the Congress Party is a matter of concern for the country.”
