Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) has shocked the passengers by increasing the fare of its taxis running in and around Shimla city. In the meeting of the Board of Directors of HRTC held on February 22, it has been decided to revise the fare of HRTC Innova taxis (Ride with Pride) running in and around Shimla city.
Now the HRTC management has written a letter to RTO Shimla regarding this decision. According to this decision, the Board of Directors has approved an increase of Rs 10 in each fare slab. The fare charges for senior citizens will remain unchanged in each slab. The fare of taxis running on Sanjauli-IGMC for patients will also remain the same.
