50 slums burnt to ashes in Indora, havoc wreaked havoc on 15 families

Himachal Pradesh: The huts of 15 families were reduced to ashes in a fire amid the scorching heat in the Mand area of Block Indora. The burning of 50 huts of 15 families living in Uttar Pradesh’s Ratangarh village of Basantpur Panchayat has brought a mountain of sorrow on the affected families. All the things kept in the huts after working hard were destroyed. These families were living in huts for the last 30 years and working hard to support their families. The fire was so fierce that everything got burnt within no time.

Clothes, fridges, fans and food items kept inside the slums also got burnt in the fire. By the time the fire brigade vehicle arrived from Jasur, everything was burnt. SDM Indora Surindra Thakur said that he is immediately sending relief material to the victims. MLA Malendra Rajan says that he has got the fire brigade station approved and after following the code of conduct, its work will be done immediately.

A fire broke out in a mattress factory in Basal area near the district headquarters on Sunday night. The owner suffered a loss of Rs 30 to 35 lakh in the fire. The cause of the fire has not been known yet. On Sunday night, a fire broke out due to unknown reasons in the shed of Kanhaiya Mattress Factory Basal in Una district. In this incident, mattresses and other valuables kept inside the industrial shed were burnt to ashes. The watchman informed the factory owner about the fire. The owner immediately informed Una fire department and police control room. Fire department sent three vehicles from Una fire station to extinguish the fire. The workers brought the fire under control after a lot of effort.

The raw material, mattresses and other items kept in the factory store have been burnt to ashes. In the police report, owner Pawan Sharma, resident of Basal, said that he has suffered a loss of Rs 30 to 35 lakh. SP Rakesh Singh said that the police is investigating the cause of the fire.

District Officer of Fire Department, Nitin Dhiman said that there has been a loss of lakhs in the fire and property worth Rs 80 lakh has been saved from burning.
