Hyderabad tourist dies during paragliding in kullu, pilot injured

Kullu: A paraglider met with an accident in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh last evening. One tourist died in this accident while its pilot was injured. Police in Kullu police station have registered a case against the pilot Jeevan Prakash and have started the investigation.

According to the information, a tourist from Andhra Pradesh took off from Raison in Kullu on Tuesday evening. The pilot was also present with the tourist. The paraglider crashed shortly after the flight.

Mahesh Reddy (31) of Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh suffered serious injuries in this accident. Reddy was brought to Bhuntar Hospital in an injured state, from where he was referred to Nerchowk Medical College and Hospital Mandi in view of his critical condition. Here the doctors declared him dead.

The postmortem of the deceased’s body is being conducted in Mandi today. After this, the body will be handed over to the family. SP Kullu Dr. Karthikeyan Gokul Chandran said that the police have registered a case and started investigation.
