Nurpur: In a campaign against the drug smuggler by the Nurpur police, 26.18 grams of heroin were recovered from Ruvi’s wife Ajay Kumar resident Chhanni, and a case was registered against the accused, and she was arrested. During the investigation, it was found that the said woman had been arrested in an NDPS case earlier as well, but she continued the illegal drug business even after that.
SP Nurpur Ashok Ratan sent a proposal against Ruvi to the Himachal Pradesh Secretary (Home) Custody Authority on May 8, 2024, on which the Custody Authority passed orders to keep the accused in custody for three months. SP Nurpur Ashok Ratan said that this is the third case in Himachal Pradesh in which the Custody Authority has passed orders to keep a person in custody. He said that this campaign will continue in the future as well.
