Jairam Thakur raises Bhindrawala Flag issue in Himachal Assembly; demands strict action

Shimla: The Bhindrawala Flag issue raised a controversey in Himachal Amssembly. The leader of Opposition and former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur raising serious concerns over the rising tensions in the state. Thakur alleged that supporters of Bhindrawala have been violating rules in Himachal, staging protests against the state from Punjab.

Jairam thakur accused Khalistan supporters of waving flags in Himachal, and claimed that violent clashes have erupted when locals opposed them. He further pointed out that the situation has worsened, with Khalistan stickers and posters being placed on Himachal Road Transportation Corporation (HRTC) buses and Himachal-registered vehicles in Punjab.

In his address, Jairam thakur called for immediate action from the government, urging them to address the growing threat posed by such separatist activities.

He also highlighted the increasing presence of bikers from Punjab in Himachal Pradesh, many of whom have been violating traffic rules while displaying flags associated with banned organizations.

Law enforcement agencies have reportedly issued multiple challans for such violations, but the rising number of incidents has prompted increasing calls for stricter government intervention to curb separatist activities and maintain peace in the state. The government is under mounting pressure to take decisive action to prevent the situation from escalating further.

As concern over law and order continue to grow, the state government is expected to address these issues in the coming days, with lawmakers and security officials calling for enhanced vigilance and preventive measures.
