Shimla, July 8: Himachal Pradesh Congress President Pratibha Singh has launched a scathing attack on Mandi MP and actress Kangana Ranaut. She said that the central government gives a fund of Rs 5 crore to every MP every year, that is, 25 crores in the entire five years. In such a situation, Kangana’s statement that she does not have money for relief work is “nothing less than a joke”.

Pratibha Singh said that Kangana Ranaut can build roads in disaster-affected areas from her MP fund, can distribute ration, but she is going among the public and crying about lack of funds and cabinet. This is like running away from her responsibilities.

The Congress President said that if Kangana was really sensitive, she would have met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and demanded a special budget for the Himachal disaster or it would have been echoed in the Parliament. But she is seen talking about other issues.

Pratibha Singh said that the people of Mandi are regretting the decision to make Kangana an MP. She said, “At a time when there is a disaster in the state, she should have immediately been among the people.”
