Lahaul Spiti: Local people protested against Kangana Ranaut, showed her black flags and raised Anti-BJP slogans. In Himachal Pradesh. On Monday Kangana Ranaut Mandi candidate during her visit to Kaza of Lahaul and Spiti district.
Parmod Kumar Thakur, BJP’s Himachal Pradesh Office Secretary, filed a complaint to the Election Commission of India against the congress party for making an attack on Kangra Ranaut, Jai Ram Thakur, and Ravi Thakur at Kaza in Lahaul-Spiti district in Himachal Pradesh. It is said that the political procession by BJP was subjected to a life-threatening attack by Congress workers.
When this incident occured BJP Ravi Thakur was also presented there and BJP Former CM Jai Ram Thakur alleged that people who protested there those were the Congress workers.
In a video, Local BJP supporters said that protesters attacked and injured one of our worker got injured badly. For this they will write a complaint against the protesters to the ECI.
Rallying for the Lok Sabha Polls in Kaza area, BJP people said that they took permission from the local adminitration.
CM Jai Ram Thakur said that “it is very unfortunate to see that they dont have shame what kind of activity they had done”.
While speaking in the video he added tha we go everywhere for campaiging, but this kind of protest is not acceptable.
Condemning the incident, Jairam Thakur told ANI, “Today we went to Kaza, a town in Lahaul Spiti. Kangana Ranaut, the BJP candidate from Mandi was also with me. It is very sad that the Congress workers attacked our convoy, attempted to stop the vehicles and pelted them with stones. District administration is responsible for the lapse. I condemn this incident”.
“They allowed them to hold an event next to our place where we were allowed to hold a public rally. Authrorities acted under the pressure of the Congress government. Strict action should be taken against them, ” the BJP leader added.
Kangana along with former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur addressed a public rally in Kaza today.
People also raised slogans “Kangana Ranaut go back” slogans against the actor-turned politician. Police was also present at the spot to maintain law and order.
Kangana has not yet reacted to the alleged stone pelting incident.
Polling for all four Lok Sabha seats in the state will be held on June 1.
