Himachal:Forest fire reached railway track in Parwanoo

Himachal Pradesh: On friday a massive fire broke out in the forests near Jabali located on Kalka-Shimla NH. This fire gradually reached towards the Kalka-Shimla railway line. Due to this, Kalka-Shimla train also had to be stopped for some time. During this time, the team of Northern Railway Department reached the spot and informed the Forest Department and Fire Department. As soon as information about the fire in Jabali forests was received, forest department officials reached the spot with their team and started extinguishing the fire.

As soon as the information was received, officers and soldiers of Parwanoo fire department reached Jabali with fire vehicles and started the operation to control the fire. The fire was so fierce that the forest department and the fire department had to work hard to extinguish the fire. Fire Officer Anil Kumar said that on Friday morning, information was received about a fire in the forests along Hotel Bird View in Kasauli and the second information was received at around 11:55 about a fire in the area adjacent to Jabali. As soon as information about the fire was received, the department team also reached the spot. Forest Department officer Prince Sudehra said that information about a fire near Jabali was received, on which our forest department personnel were sent to Jabali.

There was also information about fire and heavy smoke rising from Jabali School. The fire that broke out in the forest near Jabali has been brought under control and now the team has gone down to extinguish it.
