New scheme will come in the next budget for children suffering from AIDS: CM Sukhu

Shimla: On World AIDS Day, a state level program was organized by the Health Department, State AIDS Control Committee at Peterhof, Shimla, in which Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu attended as the chief guest. During this, the Chief Minister said that the government will bring a separate scheme in the upcoming budget for children suffering from AIDS.

During this, the Chief Minister also flagged off the AIDS awareness rally. On this occasion, CM Sukhu said that the disease of AIDS should not be hidden. Life expectancy can be increased by treating this disease. CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu talked about coming up with a separate scheme for children suffering from AIDS in the upcoming budget. Under the scheme, the government will make efforts for the education of children and upliftment of their living standards.

Meanwhile, when asked about the cabinet expansion, the Chief Minister said that as soon as he gets instructions from the High Command, the cabinet expansion will be done accordingly. At the same time, the one year tenure of the government is also about to be completed, for which the government is considering organizing a big program in Chambi, Kangra. For this, top leaders of Congress Party Mallikarjun Kharge, Priyanka Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and other leaders have been invited to participate in the program.

The Chief Minister said that the present state government is going to bring major reforms in the fields of health and education. English classes will be started from class 1 in government schools from the next academic session. Teachers will be provided in schools and sports facilities will be increased. Along with this, Rajiv Gandhi Day-Boarding Schools are also being opened. The state government is working with commitment to provide quality education in government educational institutions.
