Operations suspended in Arki Hospital due to absence of anesthesia specialist

Operations have been closed for a month in Arki Hospital of Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. Operations are not being done due to the absence of anesthesia specialists in the hospital. Despite repeated requests from the local people, anesthesia specialists are not being deployed.

Let us tell you that just one and a half months ago, the government had transferred the only anesthesia doctor of Arki Hospital. Since then, all types of operations have been stopped in the hospital. Due to this, patients are forced to go to Shimla, Solan and Bilaspur.

Doctors are giving long dates for operations to the patients coming to the hospital daily. Due to this, some patients are forced to turn to private hospitals. Even in emergency services, operations are not being done without an anesthesia specialist and injured people have to be referred to other hospitals.

As long as there was an anesthesia specialist in Arki Hospital, the people of the area used to get treatment at their doorstep.
