Pakistani rocket fell in Himachal’s Chintapurni: Debris found 10 km away from temple

Una, May 10: Pakistan tried to attack Chintapurni in Una district of Himachal Pradesh last night. India’s air defence shot down a rocket fired by Pakistan in the sky. A broken part of the defused rocket was found in Behad Bhated village near Chintapurni.

Let us tell you that there is also a Shakti Peeth of Mata in Chintapurni. The place where the rocket part has fallen is about 10 kilometers away from the temple. The Una administration is already on alert regarding the possible attack from Pakistan. A blackout was imposed in the district at night.

There is no report of any loss of life in this attack. Local people saw the rocket parts this morning and informed the police about it. After this, Chintpurni police reached the spot and experts have been called for investigation.

In the video, local people are seen tampering with the rocket’s parts. The area where the broken part of the rocket was found is the area bordering Punjab. At some distance from here is Behadbhated village, whose population is said to be more than 300.

People first saw the light, then heard the explosion

According to the local people, at 1:30 in the night, first they saw some light in the sky and after the explosion, the broken part of the rocket fell in an empty place. Local people saw this this morning. After this, a large number of people also reached the spot. Police and administration have also been informed about this.

There was a blackout in Una at night, administration alert

Una DC Jatin Lal had already issued an alert last night and there was a complete blackout in the area. The local administration issued a statement to the press and clarified that at around 1:30 in the night, a suspicious metal device-like piece was found in a non-populated area in Behadbhated village of Bharwain area under Amb subdivision. In the initial investigation, this piece appears to be inactive. Now a team of experts has started investigating it.

SP said- Army will tell whether it is a rocket or a missile

SP Una Rakesh Singh has confirmed the discovery of a suspicious device. He said, nothing can be said right now about whether this device was a missile or a rocket. Only the army will be able to tell better about this.
