Political stir in Himachal as Rajni Patil to visit tomorrow, discussion with senior leaders

Himachal Congress state in-charge Rajni Patil is reaching Shimla tomorrow. Patil’s proposed visit has increased the stir in Himachal Congress. During her Shimla visit, Rajni Patil may announce the names of some district presidents.

The ruling Congress in the state has been without an organization for 5 and a half months. Due to factionalism among Congress leaders, the party high command is unable to form a new organization. Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu wants the leaders of his camp to be crowned in the organization, while the Holy Lodge camp wants the coronation of its supporters.

Senior leaders of the state Congress Kaul Singh Thakur, Ramlal Thakur, Asha Kumar, Mukesh Agnihotri, etc. are also demanding the coronation of their supporters. Due to this, the announcement of the organization is pending. Due to this, the party workers are disappointed. There is silence in the Congress office for the last five and a half months.

Himachal Congress co-in-charge Chetan Chauhan and Vidit Chaudhary have come to the state several times in connection with forming a new organization. Rajni Patil had also visited Himachal once and had talked to senior leaders of the state Congress and claimed to form an organization within 15 days. But even after 53 days of Rajni Patil’s claim, the organization was not formed.
