Himachal : Big relief has been given to the farmers in the meeting of the Union Cabinet of Himachal. Farmers will get increased price of sugarcane with 8 percent increase in Fair and Remunerative Price (FRP). This information was given by MP Suresh Kashyap in a statement issued to the media in Nahan today. He said that farmers will get huge benefit from the 8 percent increase in the purchase rate of sugarcane.
Kashyap said that the Modi government at the Center is moving rapidly towards the goal of doubling the income of farmers. He said that if anyone has taken care of the interests and respect of the farmers, it is the Modi government at the Centre.
He said that Rs 6,000 is being deposited directly into the accounts of farmers every year. He told that the 16th installment of Kisan Samman Nidhi is also going to be released soon. He said that the farmers will soon get the benefit from the decisions taken in the interest of the farmers in the cabinet meeting held yesterday.
