Rain, snowfall expected for 3 days in Himachal: Fog alert in 7 districts today

Shimla: After light snowfall on the high mountains of Himachal Pradesh, the weather will remain clear for the next 2 days. But a yellow alert of dense fog has been issued in seven districts of the state for the next three days.

According to the Meteorological Department, dense fog will prevail in Una, Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Kangra, Mandi, Solan and Sirmaur districts.

Visibility may decrease to 50 meters from morning to afternoon in these districts. Due to this, drivers will have to face problems and the cold will also increase.

Chances of rain and snowfall again from 15th

According to the Meteorological Department, Western Disturbance (WD) will be active again on January 15. Due to this, there is a possibility of rain and snowfall again in the mountains till January 18. Western Disturbance will be especially strong on January 16. During this time, there is less possibility of rain in the plains of the state.

Shimla’s temperature dropped by 11.4 degrees in 48 hours

After the rain and snowfall in the state in the last two days, many cities have recorded a sharp drop in temperature. Shimla’s maximum temperature has reached 5.6 degrees after a drop of 11.4 degrees in the last 48 hours and 5.8 degrees in the last 24 hours.

Manali’s maximum temperature dropped by 5.1 degrees in 24 hours

Manali’s maximum temperature has also dropped to 9.6 degrees after a drop of 5.1 degrees during 24 hours. Bharmour’s maximum temperature has dropped to 7.7 degrees after a drop of 5.6 degrees in 24 hours, Rekong Peon’s temperature has dropped to 8.5 degrees after a drop of 3.2 degrees, Seobag’s temperature has dropped to 9.9 degrees Celsius after a drop of 3.1 degrees.
