Shimla: Bus returning from PM Modi’s rally met with an accident: Fell into a 100 feet deep ditch; Driver died

Shimla : A private bus met with an accident last night in Chaupal in Shimla district of Himachal. The bus driver died in this accident.

The deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Kapil, son of Lok Bahadur, resident of Thanog Rajgarh Sirmaur. Police have registered the case and started further action.

According to the police, this accident happened late on Friday night. It is being told that the accident victim’s private bus number HP 64C/8197 had gone to Nahan yesterday carrying people from Chaupal area for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally.

Bus fell into 100 feet deep ditch

In the afternoon, the bus returned with the people who had gone to the rally and took all the people safely to their homes. After this, the bus driver and conductor were returning home and their bus went out of control at Dhartukhadi in Pulwahal and fell into a ditch about 100 feet deep. This accident occurred on the boundary of Shimla and Sirmaur districts.

Immediate relief of Rs 25 thousand to the family of the deceased

At the time of the accident, there were only two people in the bus, the driver and the conductor. Conductor Mahesh Kumar has suffered injuries. He is undergoing treatment at Solan Hospital. The post-mortem of the dead body of Kapil is being conducted today. Chaupal administration has provided immediate relief of Rs 25 thousand to the family of the deceased.
