In Himachal’s capital, Shimla, a student committed suicide after failing in the 12th class for the second time. Police investigation so far has revealed that the student could not bear the shock of failing for the second time in a row. Due to this, she committed suicide by jumping into a deep ditch.
The police have registered a case at the New Shimla police station and started further action. Let us tell you that on Saturday itself, Himachal Pradesh School Education Board, Dharamshala, had declared the result of the 12th class. Seeing the result, the student committed suicide yesterday.
She lived with family in Shimla
The deceased girl was a resident of Sirmaur district, and she lived with her family in a rented room in Shimla. The deceased has been identified as Diksha, a resident of Gorwa village, Sirmaur. The deceased student’s father works as a laborer in Shimla.
Jumped on Mehli-Shoghi bypass
According to the police, the deceased student, Diksha, jumped into the ditch from the bridge located near Badagaon on the Mehli to Shoghi bypass road, where she died. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the team of New Shimla Police Station reached the spot and started an investigation.
