Shimla trader cheated of Rs 16 lakh: payment pending from traders of UP-Bihar

Rohru: An apple fruit trader from Shimla, Himachal Pradesh was cheated of Rs 16 lakh. The victim trader has lodged an FIR in Rohru police station regarding this. On the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case and started further action.

Rohru trader Yajvinder Singh has accused 3 traders of fraud. The complainant has a company in fruit market of Rohru by the name of Yajvinder Singh Fruit.

Here in 2022-23, Ram of Gorakhpur, Parvez Alam of Bihar and Deepak Yadav of Banaras bought apples from him. But till date their payment has not been paid.

He has demanded payment from the traders of UP and Uttar Pradesh several times. But every time the payment is not being made. Now threats of death are being given.

According to the complainant, Ram does business at shop number B-18 in Navi Fruit Mandi, Gorakhpur, while Parvez Alam is a resident of Ward No. 52 in Khameria, Bihar. Deepak Yadav is the owner of SB Fruit Company in Banaras.

Let us tell you that during the apple season, 80 percent of the apples of Himachal are purchased by traders coming from outside. Every year this type of fraud has been happening with other traders as well.
