Shimla: In Shimla, a truck lost control and fell into a ditch, in which two brothers from Solan died. This incident happened on the night of 20 January at around 1 o’clock. When a truck loaded with cement fell off the road near Bagipul Baiju on Dhami-Suni Road and fell into ditch.
As soon as the police got the information, a team led by ASI Ramlal reached the spot and started a search operation with the help of local people. In the accident, truck driver Dinesh Kumar (29) and his elder brother Vinod Kumar (37) died on the spot. Both were residents of village Thera of Solan district.
The police have sent the bodies of both the deceased to Civil Hospital Sunni for postmortem and the family members have been informed about the incident. The local administration is investigating the matter. At present, the reasons for the road accident have not been ascertained.
