The car of a wedding procession from Kuthad village of Solan district to Sher Badol village of Kathad Panchayat of Pachhad area of Sirmaur met with an accident on Friday. One person died in the accident while one person was injured. Two more people suffered minor injuries.
It so happened that on Friday, a wedding procession from Kuthad village of Arki assembly constituency of Solan district had come to Ser Badol village of Kathad Panchayat of Pachhad area. When the wedding procession was returning, a car in it fell into a deep ditch in Badheji village adjoining Ser Badol village.
Yogesh (34) resident of village Kuthad died due to the vehicle falling into the ditch. Apart from this, driver Sameer Kumar (34) resident of village Kuthad has suffered serious injuries. Apart from this, Pushpendra resident of village Kuthad and Bhagat Ram resident of village Kuthad also suffered minor injuries.
Police station in-charge Bhagirath Sharma said that as soon as the police got the information, the police reached the spot under his leadership. The injured were taken out and taken to the hospital. He said that Yogesh Kumar had died in this accident. Sameer, who was driving the car, has also been injured. He has been referred to PGI. Apart from this, two people have suffered minor injuries. He said that the police are investigating the matter.
