Third Air Force successful night landing at Kangra Airport

Kangra: The Air Force aircraft made its third successful night landing on Saturday night at Kangra Airport in Himachal Pradesh. The Air Force’s 3130 aircraft, which took off from Hindon Airport, Ghaziabad at around 10:36 pm, landed safely at Kangra Airport. The aircraft stayed at the airport for 20 minutes and departed back for Delhi at 10:56 pm.

People came out of their houses after hearing the sound

This test was conducted to increase the security and operational capability of Kangra Airport. Now the Air Force has got another option for night landing besides Pathankot Airbase. Local people came to the rooftops after hearing the sound of the aircraft at night. However, there is no regular night landing facility at Kangra Airport yet.

The intensification of night landing training

Airport officials are not commenting on this matter. Along with the expansion work of the airport, the Air Force has intensified night landing training. This step is considered important for the future of Kangra Airport.
