Threat to bomb Mandi DC office, bomb disposal squad begins investigation

There has been a threat of bombing the DC office in Chhoti Kashi Mandi of Himachal Pradesh. After receiving the threatening email, the administration has evacuated the entire building for security reasons. Bomb disposal squad has been called on the spot.

The NDRF and SDRF teams are engaged in search operations with sniffer dogs. The special bomb disposal squad is also going to arrive shortly. No one is being allowed to enter this building.

Officers and employees have been evacuated from the office and people coming to the DC office for work are being stopped outside.

Three important offices are running in this building. These include the DC office, the Superintendent of Police (SP) office and the court complex. As soon as the threat was received, the officers, employees and common people present in the building ran outside. This created panic among the people of Mandi for some time.

At the same time, the investigating agencies have become alert and are searching the entire building. So far it is not known who gave the threat. DC Mandi Apoorv Devgan said that all the information will be shared with the media in some time.
