Shimla: The weather will remain clear in Himachal Pradesh for the next 4 days. This will lead to a rise in temperature. Especially in the plains, the maximum temperature will be 2 to 3 degrees higher than normal. There may be some relief from the heat on 8 and 9 April.
According to the Meteorological Department, Western Disturbance is becoming active after 4 days. Due to this, there is a possibility of light rain in higher areas. After which there can be relief from heat. The temperature in the state is still higher than normal. In many cities it is more than 5 degrees.
The maximum temperature of Solan has reached 32.4 degrees Celsius, 5.2 degrees above normal. The temperature of Dharamshala has reached 29.0 degrees, 3.8 degrees above normal, and Sundarnagar has reached 32.6 degrees Celsius, 3.8 degrees above normal. Night temperatures have also become above normal in most cities.
36% less rain than normal after winter season
This time after the winter season, the state has received 36 percent less rain than normal. From 1st March to 3rd April, the rainfall has been 36 percent less than normal. According to the Meteorological Department, the normal rainfall during this period is 118.1 mm, but this time, only 75.5 mm of rain has occurred.
There is a forecast of much less rainfall than normal between April and June. Due to this, the people of the state may have to face water shortage in summer.
