Shimla, May 15: The weather in Himachal Pradesh will remain completely clear for the next four days. This will increase the heat in the plains. The temperature will increase by four to five degrees Celsius. During the last 48 hours, the temperature of many cities has increased by 7 degrees Celsius. Due to this, the mercury of 9 cities has crossed 35 degrees Celsius.
The maximum temperature of Una has reached 40.2 degrees Celsius. The mercury of Hamirpur and Bilaspur has also exceeded 38 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature of Bhuntar in Kullu has reached 35.3 degrees, 4.4 degrees more than normal.
Mandi’s temperature reached 35.8 degrees, 3.6 degrees more than the normal, Kangra’s mercury reached 36.8 degrees after a rise of 2.9 degrees and Hamirpur’s maximum temperature reached 38.5 degrees Celsius, 3.0 degrees more than the normal.
Pleasant weather for tourists
The heat has definitely started in the plains of the state. But the weather remains pleasant at tourist places. The temperature of Shimla is 26.2 degrees, Manali is 26.4 degrees, Narkanda is 20.2 degrees and Kufri is 20.2 degrees Celsius.
Western Disturbance will become active again on May 19
According to the weather department, most parts of the state will be sunny from 14 to 18 May. During this time, light drizzle may occur at a few places in the state. But Western Disturbance is definitely becoming active from 19 May. Due to this, there are chances of light rain in most parts of the state.
