Paris: In a shocking incident that has been reported in Paris, an Australian woman was gang raped by a group of African migrant men. The shocking news has come from Paris and has posed serious questions on women safety as in few days the biggest sporting event Olympics 2024 will start in Paris.
The victim woman told the police that she was attacked by five men of African appearance. As per the Daily Mail, the incident happened near Moulin Rouge on Saturday.
After the attack the woman, who was in extreme distress, entered a nearby kebab shop to seek help. There she was described as ‘Disoriented and unable to speak a word of French.’ Reportedly her dress was ‘inside out’, and she carried her underwear in her hand.
The woman, who was in Paris for the Fete de Musique music festival was due to fly back to Australia one day later but during the weekend this incident happened with her. The woman was shifted to hospital where she underwent medical examinations by the doctors.
She is now remaining in Paris to help with the police investigation as they review CCTV footage.
