IDF Air Strikes Eliminate 50 Hezbollah Terrorists, Target Key Commanders and Infrastructure in Southern Lebanon

50 Hezbollah terrorists including six senior figures eliminated in airstrikes

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that at least 50 Hezbollah operatives have been killed in extensive airstrikes conducted on Monday, which targeted multiple underground headquarters in southern Lebanon. Among those killed were six senior commanders from Hezbollah’s Southern Front and Radwan Force, including Ahmed Hassan Nazal, who led offensive operations in Bint Jbeil, and Hasin Talal Kamal, responsible for the Ghajar sector.

The IDF highlighted that for years, Hezbollah has developed a significant network of underground facilities designed to undermine IDF operations and facilitate attacks against settlements in Galilee. The recent strikes successfully destroyed 50 facilities belonging to Hezbollah’s Aziz unit, 30 targets linked to the Nasser unit, and five sites associated with the Badar unit. Additionally, the strikes targeted approximately 10 locations belonging to the Radwan force, its intelligence headquarters, and around 30 sites related to medium-range rocket capabilities in the region
