Nepal Plane Crash: With 19 onboard aircraft crashes during takeoff, 18 killed

 

Kathmandu: In recent development in the Nepal Plane crash incident, 18 people aboard including the airlines staff and crew of the plane have been reported dead. The pilot of the plane survived and was rushed to the hospital. The team carrying out the rescue operation has recovered 18 bodies from the spot.

Nepal Plane Crash 

In a tragic news coming from the neighboring country Nepal, an aircraft crashed in Kathmandu during takeoff. The aircraft was of Saurya Airlines and as per reports total of 19 people were onboard. Firefighters rushed to the spot as soon as the information of the crash was received. Rescue operation is underway by the administration.

The plane was bound to Pokhran which has 19 people onboard. Soon after the takeoff at Tribhuvan International Airport in Nepal’s Kathmandu the plane met with an accident around 11 am.

Firefighters and security personnel, including Nepal Police and the Nepali Army, are carrying out the rescue operation. Plane’s Captain Manish Shakya was rescued from the wreckage and taken to KMC Hospital, Sinamangal for treatment, according to the police, The Himalayan Times reported.
