Second assassination attempt on Former President Trump at Golf club foiled, suspect arrested with rifle

Florida: Former US President Donald Trump has been attacked once again after 64 days. According to CNN, Trump was playing at the International Golf Club in Palm Beach County, Florida, when he was attacked. The Secret Service has informed that Trump is safe and escaped the attempted assassination.

The FBI has been given the responsibility of investigating the incident. The FBI said that they are looking at this incident as an attempted murder. Officials said that the suspect had a rifle like an AK-47 with a barrel and a GoPro camera. It should be noted that Police arrested the assassin and Trump is in good health and safe now.

According to the report, when Trump was playing golf near the 5th hole, the Secret Service agents saw the barrel of a rifle in the bushes, after which the agent shot at him.

The distance between Trump and the attacker was between 300 and 500 meters. It has not yet been confirmed whether Trump was shot. The suspect has been identified as 58-year-old Ryan Roth. The man was shot by the secret service agent following which he tried to flee away in a black SUV. The shooter left behind his rifle, two backpacks, a scope and a GoPro camera. Soon, the shoter was arrested by the police.

After the attempted assassination, Trump in an email addressed his supporters. He wrote, “There were gunshots in my vicinity, but before rumours start spiraling out of control, I wanted you to hear this first: I am safe and well! Nothing will slow me down. I will never surrender”

On July 13 this year, Trump was fired upon during an election rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, and a bullet grazed his ear.
