Punjab Desk: The progressive and investor-friendly policies of the Punjab government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, are now delivering visible results on the ground. In a significant development, a high-level Japanese delegation met Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan today and expressed a strong interest in making large-scale investments in the state.
The meeting marks an important step toward boosting industrial growth and economic prosperity in Punjab. Shintaro Hachiga, CEO of Japan’s leading company Fit Founder Company Limited, and COO Takamasa Suji conveyed their intent to actively participate in Punjab’s development.
During the meeting, Speaker Sandhwan assured the delegation that Punjab historically known as an agriculture-driven state is rapidly emerging as a major hub for industrial growth. Praising the state government’s new industrial policies, Speaker Sandhwan highlighted that the government has created a highly transparent and reliable policy framework to support entrepreneurs and investors.
He specifically emphasized the government’s flagship ‘Invest Punjab’ initiative, which functions as a single-window platform for investors. This groundbreaking mechanism ensures that investors receive all required approvals within just 45 days, showcasing the state’s commitment to speed, efficiency, and business convenience. Speaker Sandhwan further emphasized that Punjab’s business-friendly policies, coupled with its vast investment opportunities, will prove immensely beneficial for global investors.
He also briefed the delegation about the Progressive Punjab Investors’ Summit, a key platform facilitating continuous dialogue between the government and both local and international investors. This meeting reflects the growing confidence of global businesses in Punjab’s robust policies. The interest shown by Japanese companies is expected to usher in a new era of employment generation and economic growth, bringing Punjab closer to the vision of a truly “Rangla Punjab.”
