It is natural that enemy nations would also push such informants into our country to leak information to them. It is said that Shahzad Bhatti and Hamas Gujjar in Pakistan conduct such activities, but the nation is stunned when it is revealed that some of our own citizens begin spying for the enemy nation because they are lured by the money they receive from Pakistan. This treasonous act is highly condemnable.
Three criminals involved in spying on the country have been arrested from Jalandhar district of Punjab. The Special Cell of Jalandhar Commissionerate Police and the police of Rama Mandi police station have jointly arrested three dangerous criminals who used to send sensitive information to Shahzad Bhatti and Hamas Gujjar in Pakistan through social media or various phone apps. They have been identified as Sachin Khosla, resident of Guru Nanakpura West, Bharat Verma alias Sunny, resident of Guru Nanakpura West, and Gurdeep Singh, resident of Kamal Vihar, Rama Mandi police station. An FIR was registered against these accused on June 25 in Rama Mandi. The police have obtained their remand. It’s not just about these three spies who were carrying out such activities while living on Indian soil; it’s also been revealed that some such internal spies have infiltrated the Border Security Force and the lowest ranks of the army. We believe that those who commit such heinous acts should be given a stern punishment.
The central and state governments could jointly launch a major campaign to achieve this. This revelation has stunned both the administration and the general public, as we cannot even imagine that an Indian citizen, living in India and eating Indian food and water, could commit such a treasonous act. Now that a handful of such scoundrels have been exposed, they must be swiftly punished, as this will teach the common people that there is no better ideal than staying true to one’s own soil.
