Haryana: In village Ratta Kheda Lukman of Kaithal district, the police encountered an arms supplier during the encounter. The accused was shot in the leg and has been admitted to a hospital in Chika. The accused was involved in giving arms in the case of firing at Gill mobile shop in Chika.
The accused has been identified as Ravi, a resident of village Rambha in district Karnal. The team of Inspector Sunil Kumar of the Special Detective Unit received a tip-off that the accused Ravi Gill was involved in the firing at the mobile shop and that he had come to Chika to supply weapons.
Fired four to five rounds at the police
The police received information at around four in the evening that the accused in the firing case has come to Chika area. The police formed three teams on this. Although the police had spotted the accused in Chika area, he started running away on a bike. The police chased him. As soon as the team reached village Khushhal Majra, the accused started firing at the police team.
A bullet hit ASI Tarsem’s bullet proof jacket. He fired four to five rounds. In retaliation, the police opened fire which hit the accused in the leg. From this he failed to escape. The police caught the accused near Rattakheda Lukman. Which is currently being treated.
The mobile shop was the scene of a shooting
Let us tell you that about 22 days ago, masked miscreants fired at a mobile shop in Chika city. The miscreants reached outside the shop and fired two rounds and escaped from the spot. Fortunately, the shopkeeper was not shot.
