Mumbai: Comedian and actor Krushna Abhishek has expressed excitement over his uncle Govinda’s son Yashvardhan Ahuja’s upcoming Bollywood debut.
Krushna took to his official Instagram Stories and shared his excitement, writing, “Apne bhai ki picture aa rahi hain… so excited @ahuja_yashwardan.” He also tagged his aunt Sunita Ahuja, who is set to make her Bollywood debut alongside her son.
Yashvardhan To Make Bollywood Debut
Yashvardhan Ahuja is set to enter Bollywood with the upcoming horror-comedy ‘Hero Ki Horrorine’, directed by Sajid Khan.
The film is expected to release in theatres on January 7, 2027.
Yashvardhan will be paired opposite Nitanshi Goel in his debut film, while Sunita Ahuja will reportedly play his on-screen mother.
The film’s core cast is also expected to include Jamie Lever, Chunky Pandey, Brijendra Kala and Simrat Kaur Randhawa. Further details about the project remain under wraps.
Sunita Ahuja Withdraws Divorce Petition
Meanwhile, Sunita Ahuja recently withdrew the divorce petition she had filed against Govinda.
She was spotted outside the Bandra family court in Mumbai with her son Yashvardhan.
Govinda’s manager Shashi Sinha confirmed to IANS that Sunita had withdrawn the petition.
“The petition Sunita ji had filed in the court earlier; she had gone to withdraw it,” he told IANS.
The development came after Sunita had made allegations against Govinda over his alleged relationship with young actress Komal Rani Swarnkar.
Govinda subsequently shared a video on social media asking Sunita to be mindful of her language and refrain from making statements that could harm his reputation.
Govinda And Sunita’s Marriage
Govinda and Sunita tied the knot in March 1987. The couple kept their marriage private until the birth of their daughter Tina in 1988.
