Political rhetoric has intensified after Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar filed his nomination for the 2026 Rajya Sabha elections. Senior Congress leader and former Union Minister Kumari Selja has raised serious questions about the NDA’s move.
Speaking to reporters in Sirsa, Kumari Selja said that perhaps they no longer feel the need for Nitish Kumar in Bihar, which is why they are sending him to the Rajya Sabha.
It should be noted that Nitish Kumar filed his nomination in Patna in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Voting for Bihar’s five Rajya Sabha seats is scheduled for March 16, where NDA candidates appear to be in a strong position.
