Lady teacher Manisha’s father Sanjay Kumar has sat on a fast unto death in Haryana’s Bhiwani. He was supposed to sit in the DC office, but the police stopped him near Kudal village on the way. Police officials said they have not been allowed to go on hunger strike.

On the other hand, the Congress’s urban district president Pradeep Gulia and other supporters, who were already present in the DC office, were also removed by the police from there. During this, he also had a heated argument with the police officers. There is also a police alert here.
Manisha’s father says that it has been 10 months since the death of the daughter. The CBI is yet to disclose how he died.
Manisha’s father Sanjay said, “The administration did not allow me to go to the DC office while adopting a dictatorial attitude. That is why I am sitting on a fast unto death in Kudal Bas village. My father and other colleagues have reached near the DC office and sat on a dharna there. Those who have been stopped on the way should also sit on the dharna there.
If I am not allowed to go any further, all the people will gather here. We had a conversation with the administration. He had said that five of you people can come to the DC office and talk, but the crowd will not be allowed to come. So, we turned down his offer. The country’s largest investigative agency, the CBI, is investigating the case, but no revelations have been made so far. “
Congress district president says government is protecting someone
Congress urban district president Pradeep Gulia said that continuous dharnas are being held to get justice for Manisha, in which people from all political parties and social organizations are participating. The government has descended on hooliganism. It seems that the government wants to save someone. He questioned that if they were sitting outside the DC office in a peaceful manner, then what was the problem in it.
Farmer leaders said – the administration and the government are dictatorial.
Farmer leader Suresh Kauth, who reached the dharna in Kudal Bas village, said, “The administration and the government are adopting a dictatorial attitude. Due to stopping Manisha’s father and his companions, we have started a hunger strike unto death in Kudal Bas itself. If a person cannot even raise his voice to get justice for his daughter, then what is the meaning of democracy? Her father is stumbling from door to door for justice. “
Missing on August 11, 2025, body found on August 13
Manisha had gone on duty to the play school from her Dhani Laxman village on August 11, 2025. After this, she had talked about going for admission in the nursing college, but she did not return home. On August 13, Manisha’s body was found lying in the fields of Singhani village. The family then accused him of murder.
The police registered a case of murder and people staged a sit-in demanding justice for Manisha. On August 18, the police called it a case of suicide, after which the protest increased further. In view of the growing agitation, Manisha’s postmortem was done for the third time at Delhi AIIMS. Subsequently, on August 26, 2025, the investigation of the case was handed over to the CBI.
