On Wednesday, the State Investigation Agency (SIA) seized the property of a Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist in Kupwara in connection with a narco-terror case. The terrorist, Zamir Ahmed Lone, is a resident of Mandian Keran in Kupwara.

He has been orchestrating terrorist activities in Kashmir from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). He is implicated in a major narco-terror case.

An SIA spokesperson stated that the case was originally registered by the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF). Upon the revelation of terror funding links, the case was handed over to SIA Kashmir.

The SIA’s investigation revealed that Zamir has already been declared a proclaimed offender by the court. He had continued to engage in anti-national activities from across the border.

The spokesperson further informed that, acting on a court order, the SIA has seized the accused’s property measuring one Kanal and 14.37 Marlas—located in Mandian Keran. The SIA’s operations will continue with the objective of dismantling the entire terrorist ecosystem.
