Mumbai: Abhishek Singh Rajput recently described his new series “Swipe Crime” as a reflection of modern relationships, highlighting the intricacies and challenges of love in today’s digital world. Directed by Harsh Mainra, the show explores college life alongside a dark digital scam, featuring a cast that includes Rajput, Faisal Malik, Rishab Chadha, and Sanyam Sharma.

In his comments about the series, Abhishek stated, “Swipe Crime is more than just a crime story; it reflects modern relationships and the decisions we make online. Being part of such a complex and engaging project has been immensely fulfilling, and I can’t wait for viewers to see it.”

His character, Ajay, plays a crucial role in the narrative, showcasing unwavering loyalty to Vicky, which ultimately entangles him in a criminal plot.

“Swipe Crime” is now available for streaming on MX Player. Produced by Jyoti Chouhan, Prashant Shinde, Upendra Sharma, Lalit Kshatriya, and Harsh Mainra under Versatile Motion Pictures, the show follows a group of college students who fall victim to fraud and blackmail. It sheds light on the devastating impact of cybercrime in India, illustrating how victims often feel abandoned as lawmakers struggle to provide adequate support.

Abhishek Singh Rajput has been active in the film industry for nearly seven years, recognized for his roles in various films, web series, and television shows. His notable works include “Stree,” “Mauka-E-Vardaat,” “Saam Daam Dand Bhed,” “Savdhaan India,” “Bhoot Purva,” “Shiksha Mandal,” and “Garmi.” He recently reprised his role in “Stree 2,” directed by Amar Kaushik, alongside stars like Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, and Pankaj Tripathi.
