“Ae Watan Mere Watan” movie trailer release : Sara Ali khan fighting for India with underground radio station

The trailer of Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan’s upcoming film Ae Watan Mere Watan has been released.

Sara Ali Khan has the lead role in the film ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’, made under the banner of Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment Production. The story of ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ is about the hero whose radio shook the British Raj. Karan Johar has released the trailer of ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ on his social media.

The trailer transports the audience to the pre-independence era, introducing the audience to 22-year-old Usha, a college girl in Bombay, who, in her pursuit of helping India achieve its freedom, forms an underground radio station that becomes the fuel that fires the Quit India Movement. Through her character’s journey, the trailer highlights the courage, sacrifices, and resourcefulness of the youth of the nation during India’s fight for freedom.

In the trailer, Sara can be seen starting an underground station against the British Raj during the Quit India Movement of 1942 to fight the ‘last battle of independence’.

Usha Mehta had started an intelligence radio station during the Quit India Movement, for which she became famous throughout the country.

Apart from Sara Ali Khan, Ae Watan Mere Watan, directed by Kannan Iyer, also stars Sachin Khedekar, Abhay Verma, Sparsh Srivastava, Alex O’Neil and Anand Tiwari. ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ has been produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Somen Mishra. ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ will release on March 21 on Prime Video.
